Supply
- We import South African animal hides directly from a government licenced tannery.
- All of our hides are sourced from sustainable sources. These include domestic farms or over population control programs.
- None of the animals that we supply are endangered or protected and as such comply with all domestic and international laws including the Convention on the International Trade of Endangered Species (CITES).
- We can generally supply the skins within 15 to 20 working days from order, however, depending on the order day we may be able to supply them sooner.
Uses for our Animal Hides
- All of the the hides that we import undergo a complete tanning process which means no further treatment or preservation is required.
- Any of our hides can be supplied with a black felt backing (used primarily for rugs) if requested.
- The tanned hides can be used for most furnishing and clothing uses including rugs, upholstery, car trim, clothing and accessories.
